SportsChat Smack of the Week: Brock Lesnar

brock1 300x222 SportsChat Smack of the Week: Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar

UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar easily ran the best smack in the world of sports this week. In fact, he ran some of the best smack SportsChat has heard in a while. Lesnar is on the mend from a career/life threatening digestive disease, but he doesn’t seem to think it is going to affect his ability to rip  the heads off of his colleagues as soon as he comes back.  Lesnar told MMAWeekly.com:

I’ll just sit back. I’ll sharpen my skills. I’ll be prepared for either one of those guys (Carwin or Mir), or if it’s Nogueira or if it’s Velasquez. I know one thing… all them guys are (expletive) their pants right now.

SportChat loves Lesnar’s swagger. The guy was knocking on death’s door just a few weeks ago, and he is already confident he has some of the toughest men in the world defecating in their fighting  speedos. But he saved the best for former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir:

You know what, I don’t think I beat him as bad as I could. So for me to get my hands on that stalker again, Frank Mir’s made it a mission of his life. Frank Mir’s a stalker. It’s been a while since I’ve had a stalker, but we’ll take care of that if we ever face him again.

This caused a bit of coffee to spew forth from SportsChat’s shnozz. It is truly a beautiful piece of smack talk because it is so true. Frank Mir has been obsessed with the idea of a third fight with Lesnar, even though their last meeting ended with Mir definitively KTFO.  The guy can’t go five minutes in an interview without bringing up Lesnar, yet he seems to be the only one who thinks the outcome would be any different.

Or does he?

It’s one thing for Mir to run smack when the champ is on his death bed and potentially never returning to the Octagon again. But it will be a lot harder for Mir to play these games with a healthy Lesnar. Especially with a speedo filled with poo.

[...] BROCK LESNAR SAYS FRANK MIR IS “(EXPLETIVE)” IN HIS PANTS [...]

I’ve always felt bad for Frank Mir since the Lesnar loss. Not only does he get disrespected by a man who just couldn’t just be happy with a devastating KO in their rematch, but had to go wave his finger in his Mir’s face. Not only because fan’s S### on Mir for being what the consider to be too cocky. But now we have an author who see’s fit twist Mir’s words and intentions into something they’re not, just so you can crap on the poor guy some moor. I mean honestly where does this author get off throwing even more dirt at guy who’s had dirt slung his way in the past six months than anyone has in the history of MMA. Frank Mir got whooped in last outing with Brock, and if he’s ever gonna have a chance of beating him, he’s gonna have to train and evolve as a fighter like no one ever has before. However, according this author, he should just go hide under some rock. Great idea. Frank just go quit, and don’t go to try and pull what would be one of the great shockers in MMA history.
