GalleyCat to Revitalize Reviews
With lit crit coverage on the decline, publishing website GalleyCat is launching a new book review feature for 2010.
“We have contacted a mix of professional reviewers and passionate readers, building a new feature with the help of our readership,” said Jason Boog. “Our first reviews will be launched later this month, but the program will grow over the next year.”
GalleyCat Reviews will also feature a directory of online sources for book reviews. “As traditional review outlets disappear, online communities may be one of the last places where readers can go to find out about new books.”
