Hannah Wallace Takes Slovenian Cuisine to its Source
Hannah Wallace, food critic and Food Politics editor for The Faster Times, recently published a piece on Slovenian food in The New York Times, which you can read in full here. She has previously published other food criticism there and has written on Slovenian cuisine for TMagazine. For the piece, she travelled to a Slovenian farm and tasted the food at its freshest, even discussing its preparation with the farmers. Wallace notes that these kinds of trips, otherwise known as “agricultural tourism,” are becoming increasingly popular as farmers are forced to supplement their incomes — and as reports like hers reach our jealous ears!
