An Invite to Google+. Life=Complete.
Today, upon entering Gmail, I saw that I had received an invite to the invite only launch of Google+. The golden ticket of the World Wide Web. I am now cemented as a technologically competent and digitally relevant human being. The kids that used to pick on me in high school did not get invites. They do not know anyone from their sub blue-collar jobs who can invite them. Their glory days are over but mine are just beginning. When Google+ gets big I can say, “I was a member before it was popular.” When the format inevitably changes, I can explain how, “I liked the old one better.”
Me and Google+. Google+ and I. Together. Forever. <3
