On April 2nd, the 1940 US census was released online. If you don’t feel like reading it in its entirety then check out this infographic highlighting how the country has changed between the 1940 and 2010 censuses; such as the transition from 100.7 males per 100 females to 96.77 males per 100 females, or California’s emergence as the most populous state.
