LeBron James has serious game. Maybe the most serious game any one his age has ever had. He somehow lives up to the unbelievable hype that he generated before he even played an NBA game every time he steps on the court. His stats in his career certainly haven’t disappointed. He has averaged at least 27 points, six rebounds and six assists in each of the last five seasons. King James is an appropriate nickname.
But apparently, there is one thing bigger then King James’ game. His ego. It appears that after 6’4’’ Xavier sophomore Jordan Crawford posterized the King during a pick up game at LeBron’s basketball camp in Akron, Ohio, LeBron took an extreme step to make sure those posters never get printed.
According to freelance photographer Ryan Miller, LeBron had Nike officials confiscate the footage he had of Crawford perhaps pulling one of these on the once and future King. If this accusation is true, this is not behavior befitting royalty. He needs to accept that getting dunked on is part of the game for everybody.
Except for Michael Jordan. Jordan didn’t get dunked on. He dunked on people. Prove me wrong.
King James should have just straightened out his crown and gotten on with his life after Crawford knocked it off his head. It’s sad watching such a talented guy collapse within his own arrogance. I think that every player that dunks on Lebron this season needs to follow up with a “say cheese!” and do a little air camera click in his direction. Too bad TO plays football and not hoops. It would be fun to watch an NBA player take an actual digital camera out of his drawers and snap a shot after serving James with authority like Crawford did.
Lebron needs to grow up. If he isn’t the reason that the tapes were removed, then he should make sure that the tapes are returned to their rightful owner so we can all see him getting dunked on. I want to see LeBron get dunked on! The people demand it! And we the people of the United States, will assume that Crawford’s dunk was a mid-80’s quality Dominique Wilkins-style windmill that ended with the King getting a face full of crotch until the tape is produced.
As for Crawford, he needs to think of a way to parlay this publicity. Perhaps he should collaborate with the surviving members of the Warren Commission to recreate the dunk exactly as it happened and put it out on youtube. But I bet the dunk would be so awesome and earth-shattering that they would decide that it had to be the work of two dunkers.
Lebron might have more game than anyone else in the NBA, but he proved in his last playoff series that he is a sore loser by not shaking any players’ hands after the elimination loss. He wore that absurd LBJ MVP t-shirt. On behalf of Texans, I ask you to leave Lyndon Baines Johnson out of this, sir. And now it looks like he has self-esteem issues too and worries more about selling shoes than he does winning championships. LeBron you’re not really a puppet for Nike. You just play one on TV.

That was a memorable dunk by Starks, but it is more accurate to say that he dunked on Horace Grant. Jordan got there too late.
Sergeant Guns says:
Jordan never got dunked on? Oh, that's because Nike destroyed those tapes. Or perhaps you destroyed your hippocampus (part of the brain responsible for memory) with all the wacky tabacky that you must be smoking. Have we forgotten about John Starks?
King James is smart. Destroying and tampering with incriminating evidence has always been an essential aspect of royalty.
Didn't the King of Pop erase the histoy of child pornography websites from his computers before authorities could confiscate them?
And how about Rodney King? Oh, never mind. I forgot. I saw that video. Damn hippocampus.
The point is, saying "cheese" is for mice, not big dogs. Lebron is a big dog.
Mason Lerner says:
Jordan never got dunked on. That dunk was not on Jordan. Some one provide video evidence.
