Post-election cabinet negotiations here in Lebanon bring with them a limitless rotation of high-level meetings, filling the news with endless encomiums about the importance of “constructive dialogue” and “working together.” The only compensation, in my view at least, is a resurgence in one of my favorite Lebanese political traditions: the corner-couch photo.
