Charlie Sheen Rushed to Hospital After Partying Through the Night
The information is sparse at the moment, but TMZ is reporting that Two and a Half Men star Charlie Sheen was rushed to the hospital this morning after feeling intense abdominal pain. His neighbors claim that he was partying until the early hours of the day, singing music loudly from his house in Los Angeles, CA. The actor’s father, Martin Sheen, has apparently joined his son in the hospital.
Whether this is a specific malady or the beginning of the Actor’s wild nightlife finally catching up to him should become clear in the hours and days to come. The Two and a Half Men star has recently found himself the butt of late-night comedians and awards-show hosts for his increasingly bizarre hedonist lifestyle. Once held behind something of a curtain, it seems as though Sheen the younger is determined to beat out the full spectrum of the wild-child celebrity circuit as the reigning champion of drug and alcohol abuse in Hollywood.
Time will tell if this is a merely a footnote in the life of Charlie Sheen or something more tragic. But with his antics building for months, with several disappearances and consistent and repetitious stories of cocaine and prostitutes, it seemed like it was all coming to a head one of these days. Maybe today is that day. Maybe not.
