Kim Richards Heads to Rehab

The star of Bravo’s Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is headed to rehab as she faces rumors of drug and alcohol misuse on screen.

After last season’s alcohol-fueled altercation with her sister and co-star Kyle Richards, Kim Richards is reportedly back in rehab.

On a recent “Game Night” episode of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kim was acting erratically and making several trips to the bathroom, causing fellow cast member Brandi Glanville to call out her behavior, driving her so far as to call her a meth addict. But several episodes later, in the doctor’s office with Adrienne Maloof’s plastic surgeon husband Dr. Paul Nassif, Kim explained that she was on several medications for anxiety and that was causing her to act oddly.

Whatever the case may be, Kim seems to have seen the light and gotten herself help for whatever problems she may be having.

A show insider told Star magazine that Kim was given an ultimatum by the show’s production team—that she must go to rehab or face being kicked off the show. With the reported ultimatum, the recent firing of many Real Housewives of New York cast members, and the firing of Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Danielle Staub, Bravo seems to be done with out of control cast members.

Is Bravo doing the right thing by demanding that Kim get help?
