Broad-ly Speaking: Plans for the New L.A. Museum UnveiledDesigned by New York architects Diller Scofidio + Renfro, the three-story, $130 million contemporary arts temple is set to begin construction mid year and to welcome culture vultures in 2013.

Deets and the architectural design were revealed yesterday at a press conference at the Walt Disney Concert Hall — which will be the Broad’s neighbor. (Note the moniker: not “the Broad Museum,” just “the Broad.” Like Cher.)
