Shaq Porn: The Latest on that Sex Tape and Other Pornography

We don’t know if the Shaq sex tape even really exists, but porn is a broad concept stretching beyond the merely sexual, and Shaquille O’Neal on Twitter posted a video Thursday that expands the concept even further. After nuc porn, food porn, disaster porn, and addiction-recovery porn, there now comes cast-removal<a href=”http://www.tout.com/m/rdf16m”> porn, as well as leg-staple-removal porn.

But that still leaves open the issue of that other porno, the one alleged to be in the hands of a man named Robert Ross who had done some music business with Shaq. He says the surveillance cameras in his house picked up video of Shaq having sex with women not his wife, back when his wife was still his wife.

This is a man, this Ross, who has already testified in court that he had previously lied about a similar tape in order to extort money. Now he wants people to believe him when he says that some Crips beat him up, robbed him, and demanded the tape back on Shaq’s behalf.

But there’s more testimony in support of Ross than just the tape (if, that is, there’s a tape). The L.A. Times reports that police have acknowledged a spike in cell-phone traffic among the gangsters involved near the time of the incident, and some of those calls are recorded. They tend to support Ross’s story, or parts of it, but they do not implicate Shaq.

That’s good, because Shaq, in addition to doing medical porn and whatever-else porn, wants to pursue a post-basketball career in front of the camera, and in an entirely different capacity. Rumors leaked just this weekend that Shaq will be joining Charles Barkley as an analyst on TNT. Those two guys’ll sure have a lot to talk about, especially when the cameras are off.
