Help Us Investigate What’s Happening to Animals in the Gulf

Help Us Investigate Whats Happening to Animals in the Gulf You’ve all seen the horrifying photos by now, but what does this disaster really mean for those oil-soaked animals? What does it mean for the marine life we can’t see? Is everything possible being done to rescue animals before they’re covered in oil? Are we being given the full picture of what’s happening?

TFT’s correspondent Elizabeth Grossman has already caught BP giving inaccurate information about what the company is doing to protect humans in the region. Now she’s  heading to the Gulf for more answers, and we need to raise $1500 so she can extend her stay and produce an investigative report on the wildlife in the region.

Help Us Investigate Whats Happening to Animals in the Gulf

In addition to making the report possible, everyone who contributes will be invited to participate in a conference call with Grossman about what she found and what more we can all do.

Here’s how you can make this special report possible:

Email: info@thefastertimes.com and tell us how much you’re willing to pledge.

If we don’t make it to $1500, you won’t be asked to contribute anything. If we reach $1,500 in pledges, we’ll email you with instructions on how to make your contribution.

Our Deadline to Raise the Funds to Make This Report Possible is Tuesday, June 15th.

The Faster Times is a completely independent collective of journalists. Please support this important project and help us continue to reinvent the newspaper.
